Delhi Election results show local governance matters

Over 50,000 members of the Delhi circle participated in one or more polls to evaluate 5 years of Delhi Government performance last month with 49% rating it as meeting or exceeding expectations while another 19% of the citizens rated it as average. In line with their evaluation, yesterday the Residents of Delhi elected Arvind Kejriwal led AAP for another 5 years.

5 years of Delhi Government performance report matches Election Results

The report nicely tells the story as to how laser focus in the last 3 years (post loss in municipal elections) on issues like water, power, health, education, transport, service delivery, things that matter to the common citizen is why the AAP Government got the mandate that it did. Do share with your social media contacts and your state leadership. We hope that many more State Government leaders will increase their focus on what matters to people in the coming years! more

Irrespective of what some people say there is no doubt that common man is benefited in terms of savings in Electricity and Water bills, Better education for children, Better health facilities, Home Delivery of Govt. services which was unthinkable. Let us learn to appreciate good works rising above political compulsions. Let improving education and health become the aim of all. more

Sit Delhi result vividly disclose the ruling party tactics in which we can agree some kind of welfare activities to the public. It is not the result oppose ruling Govt. But people expect more from AA.If the chance is given to BJP we can also do better than this Some vested interest parties find a chance to criticise it.We can proceed with our moral values.T/Y. more
I am not a Delhiite. But my remote assessment for AAP is towards their honesty, corruption free work and devotion to the concern for the people. This has resulted savings in many projects, and thus generated surplus finance, which they have distributed amongst the weaker sections of the society. Further, they have not engaged themselves in character assassinations, mud slinging and such social evils. When such culture would get disseminated pan-India? more

Future potential of India is federal set up to establish in which regional parties take over governance of India replacing the national parties forever as it has started already. It is good for the country as the so called national party like Congress is on the verge of extinction in India, thus fulfilling the desire of the Father of the Nation Shri M K Gandhi. more
