Demonetisation as a tool to eliminate black money, and control corruption and inflation
Elimination of black money, corruption and control of inflation are three important issues that have been marked as chore issues in our manifesto. In one of my messages to the Manifesto Committee sent in Sep. 2013 I had suggested demonetisation as a solution while suggesting the need to include these three issues in the manifesto. I had separately posted these suggestions along with some other ideas to Narendra Bhai and Jaitely ji as well. Now time has come to implement the suggestion to demonetise the currency. This requires replacing the existing currency with a new one with a clear mandate to RBI to ensue exchange of only duly accounted money/cash of all entities including Corporate bodies, HUFs, partnership firms, political out fits, trusts, religious and charitable institutions, individuals and other persons. Individual house holds may be allowed to exchange old currency with the new one to the extent of their one month's known earning. Since you claim to have drafted the party's manifesto I feel you are in a very advantageous position to take up implementation of my suggestion for demonetisation too and therefore request you to pursue the matter. more

Can some one share problems of currency demonetization, national and international, to understand whether such step will be too drastic and whether India has reached the situation that calls for such action. I think a pre-requisite for such action is also to ensure the system of generation of black money is first eliminated or minimised so that after the change of currency, the process of generation of black money does not continue. Some countries do not have income tax at all, which I understand means they do not have black money. Is it so and whether India can consider such option? more

The best way to weed out black money is; 1. Make compulsory use of electronics vending machine for all vendors including Rehary and vegetable Thelawala to record sale to ensure compliance of local taxes. 2. Encourage use of plastic money ie credit cards for recrding of transaction as in all developed and even in city state country even taxi payment is done through credit card. 3. Connect all land /flat /real estate sale/purchase registration through net for real time varification of the transactor credential and source of funds for benami and other dealings. more
