Disaster and Emergency Response Communities
The Disaster Management should have atleast 3 representative at every station and in case of an emergency he should be in the position to mobilize all the required resources .
A pre-defined action plan should be chalked out put -up with emergency telephone numbers and made available at every station in case of an emergency with mock drills conducted to ensure its opera-ability at the time of an emergency .
The representatives have to just follow that plan and intimate the concerned risk mitigation champions and institutions who shall be taking all the necessary responsibility .
It is only a system and workflow that has to be identified and prepared in advance for meeting an emergency .

there was need to abolish free passes and permit LTC as given in other central govt organisations once in2years. Duty passes need to be exchanged with equivalent ticket as regular traveller holds or exchnage pass as done in case of army personnel.This will avoid misuse of passes save lots of money inturn. jsmraju Ex Rly employee (1974-1978) more

I fully agree with Mr Rajeshwar prasad for stopping the railway passes.Railway to plan cost saving scheme by reducing the waste in railways like water,electricity etc. Only attack on sr citizen will not solve the problems. They don't have the sources accept pension/FD interest. more

I fully agree with Mr. Rajeswar Prasad. Railway should stop giving passes to its employees and their dependents plus Mps and MLAs. more

Student should be allowed to use discount season pass only during school or college hours and rest to be treated as normal more
