"DO NOT PAY ANY TIP" but waiters ask for it openly
Majority of Indians have been made corruptible by rule of upa. Modi govt is trying but all beneficiary agencies involved are trying their best to get rid of strict and strong govt at center. Rly have now given choice not to take food. Rly menu card clearly recommends "DO NOT PAY ANY TIP" but waiters ask for it openly and people do pay. Everytime I request people not to pay tip and ask for bill . None shows interest . So first people have to be be alert like those who are posting their views here. Expecting Govt to uproot corruption is just impossible. more

Regarding demanding/paying tips, it may kindly be noted that this 'local circle ' had discussed the subject several times, and had recommended billing through POS machines and payment by electronic means. The same, in principle, has been accepted by the IRCTC. It would be helpful if all of us insist for POS machine billing and payment by electronic means i.e. Credit/Debit Card/e-Wallets only. IRCTC also should print this message on the tickets. more

People do not pay a single paisa to the real needy but like to pay these people to display their status. more

I refer to your opening sentence saying UPA made all Indians corruptible. I have not understood as to how paying tip is compelled by UPA and how Modi Govt is trying to get rid of. Tips are being paid even now and are also being charged by compulsion even now. Earlier also it was optional and now also it is optional. more

Many many thanks for calling 'a spade' 'a spade'. This is one of the glaring examples to highlight how hardened psychofants we are. I remember similar psychofants glorifying ' internal emergency' , numerous misdeeds during Mrs. Indira Gandhi (for a period glorified as the Sun for liberation of Asia) regime also. more
