Efiling Of taxes failing

Efiling of income taxes is failing. See one of the tax sites saying income tax servers are down. What option do I have now to file my taxes. Will the tax department extend the deadline???

They have already said NO yesterday. more

There are many issues with this and many other govt sites as well. Fin minister must look into these. I think "babus" are busy trying to show govt initiatives as failures. Filing is not made easy. I could not find facility for excel download of all ITR forms. On the other hand, on-line filing is not available for ITR 2 or 3 or 5. Do they expect us to go to a tax consultant and unnecessarily pay them for all the work that we have to do ? *Kanad* more
