Thanks LC Manager for releasing your survey on electric car buying.

Technology is changing rapidly. Soon there may be hydrogen powered vehicles which will render this EV craze as redundant. And frankly, EVs are not really eco friendly as the lithium batteries are extremely environment harming. Moreover, EV infrastructure is vastly absent in our country as of date. I would rather look at a Hybrid than a EV. more
The price is an important factor. No way compromising to our calculations. However I heard a concern from an automobile engineer that, the processing of lithium battery requires burning of a huge quantity of coal, which in turn another environmental issue. Is it true. more
1. Rates are high. Govt. should take the measures for cutting down the price by reducing tax rate, providing subsidy, reducing cost of input by reducing excise duty on imported parts . 2. More charging stations should be opened to facilitate the customer by reducing waiting time more
Sr citizens n students be encouraged to buy EVs as they have travel within city. more
Initial cost and charging are big bottlenecks. more
