The poll on linking voter id to aadhaar is very pertinent as it relates to electronic voting. Many people not voting because voting is cumbersome and many unscruplous elements vote twice or thrice.

After linking Aadhaar Card to Voter ID, the voting process would become simple and fast. The voting machines will identify the Voter through the finger prints and then allow voter to cast his/her vote. The government needs to provide infrastructure to Election Commission to do this. Net connection and modifying EVM are some of the requirements. more

Exactly correct . Finger print is the confirmative of the self . Forwarding Vote through e-mail cannot be as safe as the self presenting with Thumb . more
