Our PM dedicates to the Nation by mingling with our army people during Diwali for the second time, which no others have done. As a family man their attention/ thoughts get apportioned. Now in TN though the CM is unwell for more than a month plus the party functions as a team. On the other hand we see UP & also DMK family politics. It is time dynasty politics is abolished/banned- like Privy purse. more
With due respect to Local Circle Manager and my learned friends, I must state that suggestions and recommendations are only wish least. Unfortunately for us most of the suggestions do not stand the test of legality. To my knowledge you cannot make separate rules for Family, community, Religion based political parties. What most we can do is to create awareness among our own personal circles. This is one of the reason that in the last elections Congress could get only 42 Parliamentary seats. In Maharashtra Shivsena and Nav -Nirman Sena Lost the ground. What people at large can do is to bring out the shortcomings of the members of these Family lead parties-- such as lack of education, corruption scandals etc more
Family led Political Parties - Addl Inputs : This resource post has come in the right time ; particularly when there is family feud and misunderstanding . A chief Minister's post or any Minister's post is not a training ground for the elected politician to bring his kith and kin and even daughter in law , none of whom have served the party first and the society second. If such people are accorded power merely on the qualification of being a kith or kin , the beneficiary will only be thinking of enjoying the unlimited powers bestowed on them; will be looking to grab money , property , demolish those who don't toe them. We citizens of India have been electing parties and leaders shamelessly again and again. We go to the polls with a hope to get the leaders for governance , but it turns out to be the other way. This has happened in almost all the states ; glaring examples are U.P., Bihar . People should realize that Gandhji won us Independence from the British not to take us to the fire from the frying pan ! WHEN WILL WE REALIZE THAT WE ARE ELECTING PUBLIC SERVANTS TO SERVE US NOT TO PUSH US BACK TO SLAVERY. MINISTERSHIP IS NOT HERIDITARY . more
This is democracy - Son need not take father's position - It is high time intellectuals speak in public about this practice - Nehru and his family ruined this country during last 65 years of Rule - He was alcoholic, womanizer, Smoker, and what not he has done to pursue his habits which have percolated in this country's polity. It is high time we bring back ethics, moral values of rulers in the country. Let us work hard to ensure leaders with due personal character are only elected more
