1. Government should take strict measures to control inflation
2. The Right to Food should be immediately implemented
3. People involved in hoarding and black marketing of food items should be identified and imprisoned
4. The Public Distribution System should be revamped and made efficient
5. The food material that passes through PDS should undergo strict quality checks
6. Licences of the PDS shops selling food grains at a higher than usual price should be cancelled
7. Food Corporation in India should modernize their storage facilities to minimize the wastage of food grains
8. Cold storage facilities should be increased to reduce wastage
9. NGOs should take up the task of collecting left over food from marriages & parties and deliver them to the poor
10. The ‘Amma Canteen’ concept for the poor should be implemented in other states as well
11. The Government food policies should be publicised so that people know about them
12. The brokerage system of buying crops should be removed
13. Strict measures should be taken by the Government on population control
14. ICT based end-to-end solutions can be implemented to track & transport (using Intelligent Transport Systems) food grains
15. Misuse of the Government schemes should be stopped
16. Government may provide industrial sites for food processing/ preservation in every district and encourage investors to invest/ manage/ maintain the industry
17. Educating farmers on modern methods of farming could help them in increasing their produce
18. A local supply chain for food overage should be established in every town where left over prepared food from gatherings/events/homes finds its way to the poor the same night.

The points already decided seems to be covering all aspects of food for all. I would like to add a few more points. Schemes introduced by Amma are misused by few people. They are on dual addresses both at Tamil Nadu as well as neighbouring states. Poverty should be extended to all economically backward and not caste basis. Just like GOI appeals for giving up subsidy on gas, in the same affluent amongst some castes should voluntarily give up benefits. Agriculture income is enjoyed by everyone without tax liability. Even here certain reforms are needed. Some amount of revenue that accrues can be recovered. Corruption should the highest penalty and imprisonment for longer period.
