Forced Internet Shutdowns
This platform takes up lot of good causes and so I would like to bring up the issue of Forced Internet shutdowns.
Right now in Haryana, earlier this year in Gujarat, in J&K, I read a report where it said 11 states have faced it in last 3 years.
On one hand we say internet governance, on other we shut it down.
Now a days there is lot of impact both economically and socially with such shutdowns. We should list all issues/negative impacts with internet shutdowns and submit a list to govt along with may be solutions that can avoid total shutdown. more

I think this post has been deliberately introduced. Any one with slightest of common sense and responsibility would not think on these lines. To put it bluntly if the society at large has committed an error let it suffer, financially, medically or whatever. Think of the days when these facilities were not available and proceed accordingly. more

I'm amazed at the way people think. This is like if the army person starts thinking that their safety is more important than India. If that happens do we think the army can defend this vast country. If the army person is so disciplined and focused on India why can't we. I'm fed up with these liberals whose only job is to question every act of Govt. Instead why don't they spend time with people and change them to abide by law and contribute to India? India needs now inventors, innovators, good businessmen, scientists, entrepreneurs. For how long we will depend on other's culture and products. Now is the time for all the citizens of India to shape the way India has be, a country that leads the world in culture, social, economical. Raise up everyone! The reasons for suspending internet services in different centres at times are very well known to all of us. Such action was not taken willingly but with no choice to protect the interests of the nation as a whole. Since internet is the fasted source to spread rumours through out the globe within no time, there is nothing wrong in suspending the services until the situation is normalised. It is in the interest of the nation as a whole and must always get priority over any personal inconvenience. more
