FSSAI and Food aggregators enabling poisoning of citizens

A 10-year-old dies in Patiala after eating birthday cake. The family alleged that their daughter died right after consuming her birthday cake, and other family members fell ill too. A case has been registered against the bakery shop owner under Sections 273 and 304A of the IPC.

The cake was delivered via zomato. Fssai and state food inspector would have given food license to cake shop.

Fssai certification via state food inspectors is a corrupt practice in many cases and fssai turns a blind eye towards them.

If we dont fix this its a matter of time when our children will end up consuming food from such toxic restaurants and we will be sorry. more

Yes I agree that severe punishment should be given to food adulterators more
This will all stop when corruption and bribery ends and rules are strictly enforced instead of being bypassed due to corruption and politics. more
