Me and my wife, both senior citizens booked our tickets from SBC to MAS by the 12295 Sangamitra Superfast Express on 22nd June 2018 in AC 2 Tier PNR No.4865524121. The train left SBC at 9.00am. . When I boarded the train at Bangalore I found the entire compartment is filthy and there is no water in the toilet. Please remember this is the starting point of this superfast express and we are in summer season. As a true citizen, I sent a SMS to 58888 and got a reply that the work will be attended to immediately. Nobody came for another one hour and I sent another reminder mentioning the condition of the coach. A standard reply came. One can imagine the harrowing experience of the passengers as the coach is without water and filthy. After two hours two house keeping staff showed up and demanded the ticket number to close the complaint. I told them to clean the compartment and then come to me. They were very rough and shouted at me saying that they will do the job only after lunch i.e., after 1.30 pm and disappeared. We were put to a lot of difficulty on account of this and the coach was running without water till it reached Chennai Central by 3.30pm. I am really furious as this is really dereliction of duty by the staff at Bangalore City Station who have not filled water. I sincerely expect that the authorities will check the complaint and fix the responsibility on the concerned and suitable action taken. more
