Getting the water tanks cleaned in buildings
How many of us get the water tanks cleaned in our building societies/rwa etc and how often? more

Ha ha thanks for waking us up. It is due in june end that is once in 3 months . But summer months in chennai we were getting murky water. We will have to do it in the first week. more

Good question. Forget about that there are people using the drinking water canals for their seweage disposal. First we had to stop that and fine them heavily and ask them to clear the pond/lakes as a punishment for doing that-and all the villages has to support for that..And make them legally responsible to provide good drinking water to that part of the village. Moral responsibility and if possible he should be fined heavily by the corporation/municipalities- of course you have to make sure they have not been bribed? more

It depends upon how much clean water you receive from the municipal authorities. If filtered water received in the water tank then six monthly cleaning is necessary. If dam water is received through pipe lines then water should be chlorinated. The clay will be accumulated in the bottom it requires three month cleaning of water tanks. The chlorine pills should be mixed into water tanks every fifteen days in summer to prevent from mosquito, small frogs, fishes and insects. more
