Govt almost always listens to LocalCircles

I dont know what and how Prime Minister and his team, Finance Minister and other ministers are engaged in these circles but they seem to listen/act to most issues escalated by the LocalCircles.

Case in point I was closely observing was the extension of business income tax report date from Sep 30th

The Govt was so adamant on not extending that no newspaper or TV channel had the guts to ask for extension and then 2-3 days back a Localcircles ask came

https://www.localcircles.com/a/press/page/corporate-tax-return-deadline

And here we go, they extended the date, not by 45 days but atleast by 7 days.

We all as circle members should get more responsible for what we ask the Government more

While I agree with the proposition that normally no extension should be granted, I fail to understand 1. Why the Local Circle report sought 45 days 2. How the Government extension of 7 days against 45 days amounts to acquiescence of Local Circle request. It is like throwing alms to beggars and a contemptuous action. more
What are "reports of audit"? Is this for businesses? I agree that there should be no extension of due date for anything, except is extreme situation such as what we all went through Cv-19. more
There should be no extension of date. Heavy penalty should also be imposed if the Returns are filed late. This is the only way to discipline the public as most of us do not follow the law unless forced. more
Why do those have yo file the returns have to wait until the last moment and then ask for extension? Govt should stop this every year practice of extensions. more
This is good. Hubby was struggling till late yesterday more
