Harassment to state/ central administrative officials.

Most of the state and central administrative officials are toved by politicians for not getting favours from up right Administrative cadets. These administrative officials are kept on shifting from one place to another, before completion of their terms. While country needs effective, potential, professionals to handle the countries development, it is beyond expectation to shunt effective,up right administrative officials are dumped in non- productive areas.

Our country have high judiciary to deliver justice to all such up right officials ,preventing them from execution of their assigned work diligently. If freedom of working not given, this country will have more and more officials and politicians.

Local circle to emphasize on this issue to strengthen the efficiency of the young talented up right administrative officials. more

In the mother of Democracy Britain, on whom our own democracy is modelled, the power to appoint/transfer senior administrative officials (such as Dept Secretaries) rests only with the Cabinet Secretary. Politicians cannot decide transfers. Here politicians decide even the transfer of minor positions. Perhaps the rules in India too are the same but we have cabinet secretaries and chief secretaries without spine who allow themselves to be dictated to by the politicians. One can only fondly recollect upright officers like TN Seshan. more
