Health Insurance Premiums Rising

Sleeping regulator IRDAI.

I remembers 3 months back media escalated our LocalCircles survey below prominently talking about how people are fed up of health premium increases amongst pathetic claim processing.

https://www.localcircles.com/a/press/page/health-insurance-premiums

For everyone’s kind info, HDFC Ergo has hiked premium massively on health insurance. A policy which costed Rs 57,000 yesterday. Now costs Rs 70,000. What a massive hike of Rs 13000 or 20%.

Is IRDAI hand in gloves with insurance companies. Saying something doing something else or does the industry need a price regulator like NPPA for medicines?? more

Health Insurance premium must be freed from GST. more
Insurance companies are all cheaters and looters. They charge very high premiums, after covid 19, premiums have doubled in some cases tripled!. Why CGST oin this? Why should Senior citizens subject to tax here also. I think they should be excuded. All insurance companies mhust have a universal policy and premium. Theres huold be no dissparity. Better we avoid hospitals and all insurance, anyway Insurance reimbursement also is a herculean task. All insurance companies premiums are reinsured and again reinsured. more
IRDAI should be more consumer friendly more
when hospital comes to know it is insurance they hike the amounts and make a quick buck from the insurance people more
do not blame anyone blame Indians as a whole. 80 percent of mediclaims are fraud and that is the real reason for increase in premiums. We as Indians encourage such frauds abd abrks when premium rises. Now take the Aayushyman Scheme. It is going to be closed as 90 percent of the cases are fraud. It is time we Indian becomes honest and stop blaming every thing on Govt however I do not hold brief for any govt but greedy Indians have spoiled mediclaim and Aayushyman Bharat scheme. Honest people are paying for it and will continue to pay as ths country is meant for corrupts and characterless people. more
