Help needed in Bangalore

No one can deny the excellent work done by police force in all the Indian states.

Though it is not easy to differentiate between people when such incidences occur, Police need to spend a minute or two extra to correctly judge the person they are dealing with at the given moment

Yesterday evening my son in law's car was sized in HSR layout Bangalore when he had gone out to buy vegetables for his family.

He needs to work from home for a software company, and as expected the work load is really heavy, which he can not say NO to.

Only late evenings are at his disposal

He needed vegetables for a week for him, our daughter and grandson nearing 21 months.

Unfortunately no ack has been given. He then walked more than a km back home with all the vegetables bags in hand.

Now I wonder what is the procedure to follow now to get the car back.

I have advised him not to take the car out, but use a two wheeler once in 2 or 3 days, instead of buying for 7 days in one go.

As I wonder which circle I must post this request for help, I just posted here.

We will be extremely thankful to anyone who can suggest a way out, and the Police authority when they release the vehicle """"""ADVISING MY SON IN LAW AS TO HOW HE SHOULD CONDUCT HIMSELF UNDER THE PRESENT"""""

Imagine they will use this tactic for any crisis now. Since it has been normalised. I saw how peoples shops have been destroyed and stopped from selling. Like with magic it will all get fixed with such high handed tactics. People surely dont need to eat or make money. This is how it is in Gaza, if they can survive on sewage water, so can anyone else. When incompetent is given such power, this is what you get and it looks like the class bottom feeders have got some good positions of power everywhere.. How ever did we get to this stage with so many crisis behind us which occur every year. more
Without prejudice I mention the following. Police advised all not to use two/ Four wheelers without proper authority. Let us also understand that the police are given strict instructions and they are stretched beyond their limit. In these circumstances it would be advisable to go by walk or combine the purchases with neighbours. Number of agencies are some delivering essentials. With regard to the impounded vehicle, I understand they are also released in a phased manner after collecting fine. more
In a lockdown, one is entitled to go out for buying essential items. Police has acted in a ham handed manner and caused harassment. Such conduct needs to be deprecated severely as it has no place in a civilised society. more
since this is not going to be a local challenge,as many more people are sffected like thisgeneral guidance is a must in the present scenario, where people are not accustomed to keep in touch with neighbours ,where people prefer to live in isoltaed worlds with their mobile.where people have no time to think anything outside their normal fear. When rules are framed the residents should follow and adhere to the rules. Buying vegetables or anything should be confied to timing allowed .Police also should apply rules judiciously not to inconvenience genuine citizens. see the present condition the people know more this forum and that forum and they do not think that straight talk to the concerned police station would be the easy way out. more
without any delay Contact police commissioner, he will guide you suitably, more
