Highhandedness of unreserved passengers

Hello,

I wanted to share this incident with the members of this circle and seek your opinion on how to address this issue.

Recently, I traveled from to Mysore for a marriage and on my return, I had reserved tickets for my family of 7 by the Chamrajnagar Tirupati Fast Passenger from Mysore to Bangalore.

The train departs Mysore at 17:00, and stops at almost all major stations. Many unreserved passengers boarded the coaches meant for reserved passengers and demand that they be accommodated in the coaches to sit.

I literally had to fight with a couple of ladies, and unfortunately, I could not tweet the Railway Ministry due to issues in connectivity. When I told the unruly passengers that I will tweet the Railway Ministry, they said what will the railway ministry do, and that they are not afraid of anybody.

One lady in particular just started making way into our area, forcing us to give her space. My family and I had to literally fight with her to safeguard our reservations. To that extent, the lady even asked us proof of having reserved the seats.

One of the problems I observed was that no TTE attended these coaches in the journey between Mysore and Bangalore.

My concern is how to address such issues. What are your suggestions? For all you know, many of these unreserved passengers may also be ticketless travelers, and railways may be losing revenue due to such passengers. more  

ITS NOT THE QUESTION OF SINGLE TRAIN .EVERYBODY IS AWARE OF THIS UNRESERVED ENTRY. ITS MATTER OF FOLLOWING.RLWY MINISTER TO TTE BUT AT THE SAME TIME WHAT TO DO WITH REST OF PEOPLE WHO WANT TO TRAVEL AND NOT GETTING RESERVATION.TRAINS FREQ.TO CAPITALISATION AND SO ON AND ALSO OUR HABITS. EVEN IN MUMBAI LOCAL TRAINS WHAT TO SAY ??? WHY WE CANNT NOT DO IT,SIMPLE PLATFORM HEIGHTS RAISING IS NOT BIG DEAL ,VERY EASY BUT R WE WAITING FOR DEATHS??? more  
We all should make efforts to keep our railway neat and clean more  
I travelled in Chennai - Trivandrum Toronto on 26.01.2016. I had earlier travelled in 2014 by the same train. During my earlier journey, I was given menu card like one wherein passengers can check the items that will be served during the journey. Now there is no menu. When enquired the reply was the contractor had changed. I mailed to care@irctc and got a reply that the same was not under their purview. To make railways better, whom we can mail, if any body knows please let us know the same. more  
Its' problem everyone when i was traveled in same train it happened. My suggestion to Rly>pls Enforce TTE up to last stations like the train reaching its destination. It should locked, No entry for Unreserved passengers. more  
Train as well as Express Trains will cleaned inside and outside look also. Food quality also good. Train TO RUN THE RIGHT TIME then Accident also go decrease. more
