How corruption drives politics

Everyone remembers how Remdesivir was sold in black during 1st and 2nd wave. The first company that was making it was hetero of telangana.

Then there was a major tax raid in which 142 crores of cash was found at hetero. Who in these days keeps this kind of cash.

On may 27th papers say chairman of hetero will be inducted to rajya sabha through TRS

What does everyone think is happening here. Paying your way to politics after being found guilty. more

While it was ethically improper for TRS to nominate him for Rajya Sabha, mere confiscation of cash from a company doesn't make a Managing Director of the company a criminal and thus unentitled to become member of Rajya Sabha. Rather unfortunate but the country runs on law of land but not on ethics. more
Corruption is a perennial issue over centuries. Bureaucrats bribe politicians in power to come to positions and in turn they are bribed by common public for getting work done. Politicians bribe people to retain the vote bank. Registration in realty sector is the biggest black money spinner. Bullion and currency markets are second runners. So it is a vicious circle. Both ruling and opposition party members are corrupt to the core. Unless othewise people raise their bars and leaders of political parties become role models, corruption will thrive on. Mass revolution should come up. more
Corruption is the root cause of most of the prevailing problems in society where nothing moves without corrupt practices. No Govt have ever bothered to check the corruption. more
Corruption is worse than prostitution. The corruption endangers the morals of the entire country. In Modern India Corrupt persons are Chief Ministers. Bureaucracy support corruption from behind. The corrupt people have united themselves and constituted a BIG FORCE. THIS CORRUPT FORCE IS CONTROLLING THE BUREAUCRACY & INFLUENCING GOVERNMENTS. more
Why are we not going to and working of correcting or eliminating the root causes. One when you have too many regulations, too much bureaucracy it always happens. Why not make things easy for businesses to get things done and see the change. more
