Implementation of Recommendations

We are pleased to share with you that based on your recommendations and our legal/judicial reforms whitepaper, the Government through Ministry of Law has requested Chief Justice of India about starting audio-video recordings of court proceedings to bring transparency in the justice delivery system and accountability in conduct of judges.

If you have ideas on how this can be effectively implemented across India in courts at various levels, please share your inputs. more

In cases where any minister, politician, MP, MLA etc. is either a defendant or a plaintiff, the video recordings of the proceedings must be put up on the Court's website for anyone to watch. Similarly for other high profile personalities (e.g. recent judgement in Salman Khan hit & run case) the recordings must be made available on the website. more
