The food quality in 2003/2004 LKO-NDLS Shatabdi is miserable and the contractor is taking full advantage of the passengers. Instead of 2-egg omlette, they are giving one egg omlette in breakfast and that also burnt one. The toilets are as dirty as roadside public toilets. more

Outsource food management and have quality check per month. It should be vigilance not the fixed one more  
Besides quality of food, there is problem with Soup containers, thermos flasks for tea/ Coffee water etc. both in terms of adequate quantity for a coach & sub-standard make. more  
For a quality check, there should Vigilance Team to carry out surprise check. In addition, Station Masters of all major rly stn must carry out a quality check on regular intervals (whenever a train stops beyond 10 min) regular flashing of toll free sms number on the coach itself if the quality of the food is not good. about all do not harass the traveller having sent sms. more
