There are many NGOs in India doing really good work, you can't paint all of them with the same brush and say they are illegal, corrupt, and the Govt should not have a say in the matter because they themselves use them for their benefit. It should be left to the courts and the police to investigate wrong doings by the NGOs, and bring them to book. more  
If there is no private education, India would have not achieved literacy target, if there is no NGO in India ,The Indian population would have not improved so much economically, socially and educationally, They have contributed some percentage with their available resources. Are our Indian politicians are honest ? Are our voters ? are honest, Are our officials are honest ? Our Government is the way we vote.Please judge with the above circumstance How you can blame N G O's alone. more

All NGOs must be visited once compulsorily with out prior notice and checked for their activities, conditions , financial,audits are truth of their contributions from different sources. more
