Let the Center frame the guidelines and States to follow. more
The overview would be more complete if the list also included the other States. It would also help if large and densely populated cities could be listed separately viz. Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Varanasi etc. more
Increase of Corona in some States show non compliance of Preventive Directives. Everyone must Realise more
Ashima ,the rate of contact testing or tracing contacts is an important parametre in the effective management of the Pandemic . Normally these data are not published in the public domain . I think these data should be sharded within states so that the factors leading tosuccess in one state can be followed by another . Otherwise it will remain as secrets for not being useful for the Indian patients humanity in general and Indian patients in particular . The Party national President Mr. Nadda hailed the Proactive Leadership of B.S.Yeddoyurappa and his Team . The success of the Administration was attributed to the 4 T's ; Tracing (the parametre you mentioned in the post) contacts , should be the basis on which Testing should be instituted first . Testing : Treating : Isolation, medication , diet , rest , councelling . Technology . Karnataks has done it in style , and it is praiseworthy that the Metrolpolitam city has not at all featured as the case of other met cities like Mumbai , Delhi , Chennai, Ahmadabad . A month ago P.M. had hailed U.P. as the model state in handling and managing COVID 19 cases ; being the highest populated state with a small number of Cases , though their testing per lakh wa just in 3 digits when most other states had them in 4 digits . more
Now that Centre has stepped in and Shaw has promised to triple the testing rate we should expect much better testing rate in Delhi along with spurt in the number of cases in the coming period more
Whatever may be the statistics, whether authentic or not, the onus of protection is now with people. Govt. Can't be expected to continue with the lock down for long times and feed people for any length of time. People must take by themselves due care based on the SOPs issued, raise their immunity levels and fight the pandemic. This is not being done and therefore the surge. more
