Indian Covid experts are clueless

I have seen atleast 5-6 virologists, epidemiologists, public health experts and some so called data experts come out in media in last 1 week and say India doesnt have much risk, we have immunity, we have seen all these variants blah blah. This reminds me of jan Feb 2020.

Here is the latest news: China will no longer provide regular coronavirus updates amid surging infection rates including any genome sequencing data and tell you what they havent properly provided for last month atleast.

So we need to assume there are new variants that we know nothing about that are causing havoc and will cause more there.

Indian media needs to deploy some serious journalists in China if we are to get prepared for whats coming.

Any real journos are left in India media or they are all talking heads discussing religion and hate and ra ra of politicians. Show up please more

COVID Lovers stay in their homes for their safety. Not to spread the virus through Social media. We have business with China & there is nothing like any situation , mover freely, No test , No quarantine. Normal , ordinary Peoples stay away from Mafi Media . They may have got money from Pharma Companies . Fear Is factor to promote their useless vaccine. more
Nobody is pushing falsehoods... There are various opinions and in a democratic system you should know that everyone has a right to air their opinions... even epidemiologists are divided on the subject... There's no concensus ... So everyone is running around like headless chicken... Under such ambiguous circumstances there are those of us in this circle who believe in a cautious approach... unlike some others... more
No doubt, our doctors have hardly expertise on this subject. Within few days of message came to India, experts started deliberating in such way as if everyone had dealt this virus for long. It has become a fashion in now a days to talk like an expert and mislead the people. more
People must start using masks. If noone wants another explosion of covid. Its going to be on us before we know it. Government needs to give directives on media to this end otherwise nobody takes things seriously. Fines etc must be levied as before. Better to control things by using easier measures ... Instead of going into lockdowns and economic disaster. more
Shivani Singh stop pushing this sort of falsehood. Listen to Dr Bhattacharya, a leading epidemiologist. He along with many others with scientific proof that we should not mask healthy population. more
Yes, Indian covid experts are clueless. They suggest everyone to wear masks even though the pore size is 10 times larger than that of the virus. They told everyone to get the vaccines (booster included) even though it doesn't prevent infection, severity or transmission. Plus, they literally couldn't imagine that pushing an experimental product on the population was bound to have side effects (heart attacks, blood clots). more
