India’s airport experience

As shared by a friend
Just flew back Dallas - New Jersey - Delhi and reached home. At Delhi Each passenger is screened by health officials just outside the gate of aeroplane...

From there one is whisked to immigration which in Delhi doesnt take more than 5 to 10 mins. And from their all travellers are quickly whisked away to their respective baggage belts. Each baggage belt is almost cordoned off and one can only go to their respective baggage belt.

This is done to prevent inter mixing of passenegers of different flights. Now before u reach the belt, ur luggage is pulled out of belt by airport staff and kept on floor. One can easily identify it from a distance and pick up and simply leave....

They have cordoned off each and every zone in such a manner that each passenger lands and quickly leaves airport after their medical check up. This is in total contrast to airports of Dallas, New Jersey and Frankfurt which I visited in last 1 week. Hats off to Indian govt....

Sometimes we fail to complement our own country / govt even though they are ahead in so many ways than their counterparts which are supposedly developed countries! more

Our Govt is taking preventive measures so that it does not spread.Good work. more
In fact self criticism and criticising our people and the government for everything found failing to compete with the rich western countries have become the way of displaying ourselves as modern westernised. However, in the present development of a fearful atmosphere all over the world because of the outbreak of the pandemic, the so called modern westerners are now in a hurry to practise our system and culture. Even now the critics of our government will not acknowledge the good works done as described in the post. more
Ms. Seema thanks for the precious reviews. more
