Issue - Building Permit Problem. I am an architect and consultant for a central govt.agency.We are doing a project for govt.medical college Trivandrum. As per the Kerala building rule, all plans should be submitted to the Corporation through online and hard copy to be submitted, if getting online approval.For govt. projects no approval is required but plans should be submitted for intimation.For the above project, we have got online approval and hard copy submitted twice (due to missing of file). Again file is missing. Solution 1.All building application and approval should be through online only.No need of submitting hard copy to the corporation. 2.Fix time limit for approval/rejection -say one month. After one month treat as -approval is given. 3.No need of approval for govt. Projects. 4.Allow architects for giving approval as in the case of charted accountants who is authorised to sign audit reports. more
