Instant Loan Apps menace

There is a localcircles survey report link that I have just received from my Dad in Kanpur and the report is so so true.

https://www.localcircles.com/a/press/page/instant-loan-apps-survey

The girl that works at our home had taken a loan for her father’s covid treatment last year and they took it because it was fast but since then they have been subjected to something just short of torture. Her images with her friends have been morphed and circulated. We are helping her pay the loan now but for an INR 10000 loan she will end up paying 35000 for 13 months.

Govt should take very strict action against this menace and by the way the app that was harassing her was not an Indian app. more

Foolish peoples are making nuisance. Did they didn't understand the banking loan procedures ? more
and the common man can't approach either police or the court!!!! more
Employer can if need be. more
In case there is a legal document about the loan and the rate of interest some legal action could be possible. If not a case of harassment could be made to the police. Employer could help the employee to avoid black mailing of the latter. more
I am surprised. Actually hospital/ medical treatment is free upto an expense of Rs. 5 lakhs per annum in U.P. The story of the girl in Kanpur seems to be over rated. Unlikely that they would not know about the FREE medical treatment matter more
