IRCTC App for Mobile Phones
IRCTC and INDIAN RAILWAYS MUST ANSWER THIS:
I did not install the IRCTC app because they want to have total access to all my private information on my phone and memory card....
I want to know:
WHY DOES IRCTC WANT TO ACCESS MY PRIVATE INFORMATION LIKE PHOTOS VIDEOS & OTHER FILES? WHY YOU WANT TO USE MY CAMERA AND MIC TO RECORD? WHY?? WHY???
PLEASE ANSWER.

Not only IRCTC all APP want to access whole mobile data which is in mobile either as an APP or mobile data. This is totally wrong thing . but still for day to day life we have to down load various APP or mobile company installed APP. more

To my opinion whether IRCTC is demanding information legally as per cyber Act or not. What are the Cyber Act says ? more

The application require certain permission to make application work. Example storage is for auto download the booked ticket, location for giving real time information wrt location, often location is used to hit proper selected advertisement etc. more
