IRCTC GETS USER - FRIENDLY FEATURES . SEAT AVAILABILITY WITHOUT LOGGING :
We were all so happy that the passengers will be able to access the seat availability and other information even before Logging in .

I got just " Page under construction " and with logging details .
As I am not a computer Savvy person i was helpless and had to log in the old way . Some fellow member can come to the rescue of me as well as some more if any .
Otherwise Ministry of Railways itself can issue another Post informing about the readiness to offer the new services.
UNFORTUNATELY PUBLICITY OVERTOOK BEFORE SERVICES WERE MADE READY . more

Whether one ia computer saavy or not is immaterial when a PUBLIC utility is concerned. I am handling various types of computers (mainframes, large, mini,micro,desktop, PCs etc.) for the past 50 years, but had to suffer the same troubles what all of you had experienced. But, IRCTC remains unfazed. more

One more bad thing about the new website is that we cannot change the mobile number as it is not editable which means that we cannot book ticket for others in our login. more

Mr. Ranjit , Biswas all along these 3 years we the old and women have been asking that probablity of getting the lower berth of our choice . But IRCTC has been skirting the issue. Is IRCTC making us gamblers or trying out lottery system using passengers money.? more
