IRCTC not allowing to book ticket even after Aadhar verification
New IRCTC website is frustrating , not user friendly...simply a new initiative by Indian Railway to harass common people. As all know if you link your aadhar number , you can book up to 12 tickets per month. I have linked my aadhar more than 36 hours ago. IRCTC is giving message your aadhar is verified. But when I am trying to book a single ticket for myself , system is not allowing me to book ticket and showing , to book a ticket al teast one passenger has to link aadhar number. what non sense is this?? Really a bull shit site and money blocking trap of Indian railway. Can anybody say what is the solution ? more

There are complaint from various corners. It seems the new software is not properly developed. The authorities should look into it. more

Yes Sir, about 2 years back I included my adhaar no and my master list says it is verified. Now the same site says it is is having errors and unable to add. We know well still now ie very recently many fradunts used the site
for bulk booking and ordinary reasonable man unable to book. There is no improvement in the new site and unable to book urgently and not user friendly. more

Are we using different systems? I have not linked my Aadhaar to the IRCTC site. And i just booked a ticket online without any hassles. In case someone is facing problems, it would be useful to take screen shots and post with the message. That may help the concerned people to fix the same. Railways is doing a wonderful job with lakhs of people dependent on it for travel on a daily basis. Let us not just say whatever comes to us. One gripe I have on the site is that the captcha has been commercialized. It is showing an ad and asking us to click on the same, which is not ethical or profession for such a site. more
