IRCTC Tatkal has been completely taken over by hackers
I tried tatkal booking even today. The server was down since 9.45 am to 10:12 am. And when the server started, all the tatkal tickets were booked. It is amazing that IRCTC is unable to do anything about it . more

Basically, IRCTC website is not able to take the load required for tatkal booking. Unless otherwise IRCTC platform is redesigned, this matter would not be resolved. This problem is felt seriously during peak seasons. This needs to be addressed on priority. Railway Minister to look into this urgently besides host of other issues. more

Actually at some busy routes it is impossible to book tatkal tickets because of huge rush over website from all over the india and very limited seats. more

i also faced the same situation, 10 am to 10.25 no login, only validating and after that , complete ticket sold out more
