Issues with Tatkal Booking
Some members have in the last few days raised issues related to booking/refunds related to Tatkal. Kindly share your details (Userid, transaction id, date of booking) so the IRCTC and CRIS teams can check and take corrective actions. more

I think online ticketing is stealing the opportunity of those standing in line at the booths for hours. Please keep two quotas, one for online and the other for window. Remember that while each person can have one computer, all the people in the line at the station only have only one or two windows for tatkal. more

For some trains the tatkal quota is suddenly decreasing from 105 to 15 in a minute....especially for the trains which have Premium Tatkal Quota more

The website goes down at 9:58 and resumes at 10:15. Can we not upgrade the server to take 10 times as much booking at the time of tatkal booking? People are pissed off saying the fares and charges have increased but the ticket booking on IRCTC at 10AM has degraded. Is this what we promised to the nation? I am a project manager in IT working in Infosys and let me know if you need any assistance from my end to resolve this issue. I can analyze the system and suggest optimization more

Whenever we going to book ticket under Tatakal scheme after filling all the details for journey date and while making payment suddenly it will show connection problem/error So kindly requested the concerned authority to resolve this problem more
