I fully agree with Mr Padam Law. I have been filling my ITR on my own but in this assesment period it was difficult because of redumption of MF portfollios that needed application of different clauses for Long/short term gains to calculate income tax payment. After breaking my head for a few days I had to take services of a CA to beat the dead line of 27th July. I only have surface knowledge of Income Tax laws just to file ITR-1. more
No need. July 31 is O.K. It takes now 1 hr maxm. for uploading. Peoples should follow the rules OR face penalty. more
ITR date must be extended by a month. more
Extension of ITR date is really foolish. In case anyone wants an extension of date, ten they should pay Rs. 1000 more as penalty for every week of extension. Indians want all benefits without paying for any facility. more
As a Tx Consultant, we are suffering a LOT. The Income Tax portal is not working properly. IT department sending messages to submit IT returns before 31.07.2024. Our clients are pressuring us to file their Income Tax returns. But portal is not supporting. more
