Good way to get rid of bad money 💰. It is gold. Always available more
The Government should remove the root cause of Black Money i.e. Personal Income Tax. As it is only 5.6% of population is paying tax a majority of them are salaried persons. By abolishing personal income tax government income will reduce marginally as major source is GST. The advantages are many some listed below: 1. Environment friendly as paper work is reduced. 2. Manpower hours saved as no accounting for TDS issue of Form 16 deposit of TDS etc. 3. Lakhs of Income Tax Officers will be available for deployment in other areas. 4. Bank deposits will go up tremendously. 5. People will prefer digital system for transactions. more
Deposit the motes in the bank. Withdraw lower denominations or go digital. more
I feel, though sad to say it, we have become a nation of cheats and perpetual grumblers. We want Governments to take action against black money but whatever steps are taken, cheats find novel ways to circumvent them; then the grumblers pitch in and complain that this section of society is affected, that section is put to hardship etc. more
Is this hearsay or real? Many people are spreading rumours based on WhatsApp gossip. There is no clamour and unrest for Rs 2000 notes. In any case, as per RBI these notes can be exchanged effective March 23, 2023. There is no reason to panic other than those who have obtained the cash by ill-gotten means. If you are upright and honest, please report such inciidents to the authorities. more
