Kachha trade coming back

Lots and lots of kachha trade is back. The manufacturers are selling in kachha to retailers and basically saying we will bear half of the 12% and you bear the other half as we have paid taxes on our input supplies.

Traders are buying in kachha paying 6% more and then selling in kachha. They are unhappy saying I am getting squeezed more. more

Business operations-buying and selling,production-Quantity and value, and all the transactions related to money, have to become ON Line.Every one should have documentation done through the System. It will help to catch the Culprit either to day or tomorrow. Secondly, the audit and surprise checks will bring the Corrupted parties on the forefront. Thirdly, the degree of Punishment has to be very high. The "Fear Complex " only pays many times. Fourthly,The Judiciary has to act very fast and time bound. Then after we can move towards Developed Country and better life. more
Reality is, that the seller continues to manipulate the buyer with fear of charging GST if they want "pucca" receipt. Truth is, that we as buyer need to finally grow up and have no fear to pay GST, because that's the money which shall contribute towards the overall development of facilities and amenities for the general public. It is open knowledge that since introduction of governmental reforms the number of income tax payers in the country has increased tremendously. Promptly the government has reduced the GST percentages of several products. We as citizens of this country can continue to support such reforms "for our own benefit" by paying GST wherever and whenever applicable. Having said that, it's also high time that the government finally implements law that for every sale in a shop an e-receipt must be issued including GST, irrespective of the amount. And this should be top priority on their agenda of reforms. more
We are habitual to complain and don't want to improve our self. If every one, who buys any goods, ask of GST bill or not purchase the goods from a shop who does not give proper GST Bill, I assure all the shopkeepers will immediately get registration and will issue proper invoice. Shopkeepers needs customers, so they will change them to keep their customers. We except everything to be done by the government. If we ask for bill and shopkeeper says GST will be charged, then we opt to buy without bill. To whom we should blame for this. Further to save money we prefer to buy from roadside vendors, instead of proper shops. If we don't promote roadside vendors, there will be no encroachment of roads, and no Jams. Hence, if we want these shopkeepers to pay all the tax to government, collected from us then we should change our habits. If we decide to buy only from proper shops, and with proper GST bill, all katcha sales will STOP. more
Right - Agree with you , we just say but we don't courage to take action more
Basically Indians are averse to pay taxes. But do not miss to critisise government. Day when taxes are paid honestly india will progeess. In America even for hair cut they are issuing issuing bill. So billing should compulsory for all the activities. Now small billing machines are av and conductor are also using it. So there no excuse for not issuing bills. more
As far as I know those offering kachcha sales are cheating their customers and earning more profit. It is customer who is loosing his right to collect GST. It is better to buy on proper billing. The GST portal has a system of cross checking, it was in existing during VAT regime also. All the purchases made by a dealer were cross checked and any mismatch would be conveyed to concerned dealer. This provision is now upgraded and is in practice. So anyone claiming that they paid 12% GST and asking purchaser to bear 6% for kachcha trade is misleading. Grieved purchaser should refuse to buy without proper invoice. more
