Learn about Walmart
I think India is celebrating that Walmart has bought Flipkart.
I live in New Jersey and have several friends working at Walmart.
This is one company that regularly pays bribes (yes Bribes in America and internationally) in fact has had tons of notices, court cases and convictions and fines against them. They provide good value to customer by squeezing suppliers and efficient supply chain but is a corrupt company at the core.
In fact its Indian operation under Bharti was shut down practically because it was paying bribes eveywhere to run the show.
Since they are anyways corrupt, they may fit in well with the Indian way of doing business in India. more
