Lets ensure no charges on UPI

We must fight tooth and nail to ensure that Govt doesnt permit platforms and banks to charge MDR fee to merchants on upi transactions as captured in LC survey

Because if we dont raise hell Govt could allow the same and then same old story, atm se cash please give will say the merchant because UPI mein charge lag jayega.

Let us ensure UPI stays free for consumers always and free for merchants. If merchants buy insurance or take loan, charge them more

The UPI is misused . The Peoples are transferring Rs. 5.00 tea by UPI . This is generating unnecessary load on system to keep account of small amount of each person. In stead Govt. should allowed UPI Payment More than Rs. 500 /00 free up to 5 transactions. For more than 30-40 transaction per month / per person it should be chargeable. For these 30-40 transactions Govt. Should charge Rs. 500 /00 Per annum / Per person. It is Economical & requires to maintain the hardware . software & operational Expenses. No FREE . Stop thi FREEBIES Now. Out of 120 Cores 10-20 Cores will cry on Social media. Let them . more

All UPI transactions must be free of any charges. If any charges on UPI transactions is inflicted, there are every chances of reverting back to cash transactions by majority of the consumers, which, by no means, would be a welcome development. more  
I agree with Madam and there are certain areas, you do not poke and UPI is one of them. BJP government have not given us any rebate or rate cut on any. Their policy is focused on Trillian dollar economy and that can only be achieved through increase in revenue for the Govt through price and tax increase. GST in a way has ruined common man instead of providing relief as a singly tax regime. GST collections have only made our Govt rich for spending at the cost of price increase. Too bad and too late. more
