Liquor ban in flights

Last night i read about our circle survey on economic times website which called for ban on liquor in flights and i just googled up. Several other media also has it.

https://www.localcircles.com/a/press/page/flight-liquor-rules-survey

My question is what if the flight you or your family is on, 3 big tall men get drunk and start beating and assaulting other men/women. Will the flight attendant and captain restrain them? Or will the crowd take over and fight inside a plane.

For heaven’s sake why do we need liquor to be served in flights and then have people piss at fellow passengers or abuse them or sexually abused them. What about when this happens with flight attendants? A US study below some time back found two third of them are sexually abused, 66%. Just imagine and these things happen and go unreported.

So just stop this liquor menace and newspapers show some guts and write about this. more

Inebriated behaviour just an attribute among the many wayward behaviours. How can one predict what will substitute that after liquor ban! Address the crux of the matter, even post facto, but you let the person get away simply. more

Firstly, the company that hired the man, has taken action insofar as having him terminated. See attachment. Ban Mr.Mishra from flying much longer than just 1 month. Secondly, patriarchy a concern wherein we have witnessed that only women are the victims. How dare a guy find it so convenient doing such an act to a lady! This the second similar incident! more
What a rubbish suggestion! more
Liquor has been served on international flights for several decades. If Air India has to be competitive it cannot choose to wish this away. Rather this is an issue of better management and restraint on passengers. Cabin crew must ensure that they do not supply unlimited alcohol to passengers. Moreover, taking strict and swift action will ensure that such mis-handling is curbed. Keep things in moderation, vigil and check will ensure that this will not happen. This is something the airline indistry needs to fix. Bans serve no purpose. more
looks like people have lost their civic sense. There should be a limitation on free alcohol. When ever it is free people will try to consume the same beyond what can be endured by a person and makes him to lose his balance and then one does not know what he will do and if the aircraft crew do not use their strong clutches then it will be what we have seen all over the news channels will happen. There should be a camera on board on both business and normal class.Surprisingly it is not there .It will then record without any need for confirmation from anyone. It should be implemented at the earliest without any second thoughts. Just imagine if a politician or an influential person had done this then it will be hard for the crew to take any action .Irrespective of any person it should be done without any excuse. All the crew members including the captain etc should be suspended. Also tata's took a long time to respond till it was on news channel. They should have immediately after receiving complaint should have raised a flag and issued an FIR and arrested the person responsible for this . That guy should be put on a no fly list for a min duration of one year.It is good to hear that he has been sacked. Now lawyers for what they are will try to twist the issue as if nothing has happened.Someone should pee on the lawyer then they will understand how it is.That is why the lawyer community not one believes in and do not have respect more
