Major fraud by competitive coaching classes

Almost all the competitive coaching classes FITJEE, Akash-Byjus, Allen etc are engaging in a major fraudulent activity for decades and the education ministry of central or state govts have turned a blind eye.

These institutes partner witg low grade schools registered with CBSE offer them money and offer a service to their grade 11,12 students which is called as dummy school. The low grade schools fraudulently report attendance of these students enrolled with coaching centers at minimum attendance criteria of 75% while in reality they never go to school. The students attend the private coaching centers instead and do NEET JEE other preparations.

Just like under 16 coaching classes have been banned this dummy school fakery business must be cracked down upon. Promoters and principals of these low grade schools take money from coaching institutes to do this and must be raided. They in exchange add hundreds of students on their student roster when details are to be submitted to CBSE while in reality those students dont even know where the school is.

Can LC Manager please escalate this matter to CBSE and Ministry of Education? more

The quality of education in schools is going down now a days; most of the schools are interested in making money only. It is also true that clearing tough competition is very difficult without coaching, and only on the basis of education in school. more
This is a very real issue. Surprised CBSE and govt been sleeping over it for decades more
This is true that these coaching centres had been engaged in making money. It's not only low graded schools, students of reputed schools were also moving to such coaching classes to ensure admission in medical & premier Engineering institutes. Parents are also responsible to invite such problem to youth. I still recall such class room study was initiated in Bombay(now Mumbai) in late 60's or early 70's as there was an acute shortage of space at home so youths are studying regularly in such classes collectively. There was no big hype. But later in Delhi and northern India, it had become a regular organised practice, turned to a money spinning institute across the country. Govt. hardly cared for such organised crime and Public schools were never questioned for their deficiency in teaching by parents instead pushed the kids to such institutes. Such coaching classes will pull down the shutters once schools are teaching well and taking care of students well. Govt. must act on that part instead of banning such institutes suddenly. Such action may be an unmatched political tie up that may not be ruled out in absolute terms. Truly apolitical. more
Must act CBSE more
State govts should not allow such coaching centres to operate till 3pm on all working days. more
