make railways better

At present reservation facility to persons with disabilities is provided at the counters only to enable themselves for discount or concessions. But the sad part is that such reservation facility is not provided on internet, it is actually they who needed this service because they cannot go all the way to the counters. please look into this
with regards more

Sir, Very good idea more
Sir, very good sugession, regards. more
Mr. Vijay Srirang, It is your valid point. Facility to book concessional ticket on internet be extended not only to disabled persons, but also to cancer patients and such other patients, and senior citizen. I also suggest even at booking counter, they are issued when handicapped, patient, and senior citizen go in person. If some one go on their behalf, why tickets are not given in same priority? Why senior citizen, cancer patients and handicapped be not get their ticket on internet, when they have their valid concession order witrh them? I fully agree with you on your point, with my two additional points as stated above. Shirish S. Shanbhag, Mumbai-400089. dated: 10.7.2014 Email ID: s.s1954@rediffmail.com more
It is a good idea. As one time measure, the PHC can go to booking counter, get his profile created, submit the proof of ID, Address Proof, PHC certification etc in hard copies. Railways have to get the same scanned and upload to the profile, as supporting documents. Then give a permanent special ID card with number. With this help, on line reservation has to be facilitated. However, the PHC person has to carry this ID card during travel. When there is a will, there is a way. more
Valid point, such concessions should be provided as per facilities given to senior citizens through Iinternet reservation. They can produce documents as specified on boarding the train more
