Manifesto must contain the following

Apartments are coming up like anything in City and there is no proper control/regulator in this regard.
Even though RERA is implemented it is in diluted form.
Before finalising Manifesto all parties should discuss with Apartment Federation & Residents Welfare Association's to include/ consider their demands.
///ly Old age homes are future needs in coming days. Importance should be given to oldage homes and all parties to support their demands by having discussion with Senior Citizens & old age homes.

All foot paths should be made available to pedestrians without encroachment.
All parties should make a promise in their manifesto to provide hurdle free foot paths.

///ly play grounds should be provided with all required infrastructure in all areas.

Health is wealth. All areas should provide free treatment & medicines at cheaper rate. more

We agree with above suggestions. If your local representative does not do any work he should be liable to be called back after a period of 1-2 years.Just like the apprisal of Officers/Executives in any Service by rating "Below Average". more
All parties promise so much during elections which we have seen but after the elections are over it is very conveniently forgotten.Unless this is taken to task and some form of committment given otherwise they should lose mandate only then they will be serious about it more
Urban planning is a joke in our country due to corruption more
In addition to Mr. Umesh cj's sugesstions; i request to add a point that, ''An officer in-charge of any of the Public Works, will be held responsible/Punished/ removed from duty, for any low grade works''. If Public has no Right to intervene in Government's works and duties, then bureaucrats should also be Punished Similarly under sections for Not Doing their Duties. more
I have been insisting for the last 40 years that the manifesto should also highlight the commitments in the previous elections and achievements thereof in a broad manner, along with reasons for non-achievement where applicable. This will prompt the voter to analyse the capabilities of the candidates and vote accordingly. more
