Many Hospitals profiting from pandemic

Post COVID some hospitals are reporting unprecedented profitability. However a large majority especially the smaller ones are struggling.

Some Large private hospitals are nicely gaming the covid 19 patients by not making rooms available under price caps available and therefore forcing the EWS patient out and the rich patient into a non cap category or say a double room.

Can everyone here share their, familys and friends experiences and if it was a good one share that as well. more

Medical system from Pvt colleges to Pvt Hospitals/Nursing Homes support huge earning by health professionals, businessmen. Since a businessman is residing in each of our leaders (political/ non political) it will continue at the cost patients. more
Pandemic or no pandemic, private hospitals are beyond the reach of most of us. For blood transfusion to a cancer patient every month my every visit in 2006 was costing Rs.70000 more
The fault is our educational system and opportunists. People want to earn easily at the cost of any one and that is why theirs craving to qualify as medical man so that they can loot like a business opportunity.Parents pay huge ransom for admissions and no one wants to get other qualifications as the chances are low in them.Students also are motivated by parents heavily and they commit suicide if they fail at NEET exam and many go abroad even with poor marks to get the seat.Unless severe steps are taken this will be bound to be there more
Ne fear of God is the main reason for such business standards. more
