Many unliever cosmetics are cancerous

Unilever has said that dry shampoo brands including Dove are contaminated with a cancerous chemical called benzene, a Bloomberg report stated. The list of brands recalled by the consumer goods company also included names like Nexxus, Suave, Tresemmé and Rockaholic and Bed Head dry shampoo maker Tigi, an official notice posted on the Food and Drug Administration’s website Friday.

This is a disaster. Imagine India’s corrupt CDSO officials whose 2nd in command was recently arrested for taking bribes for drug approvals. Imagine they turning a blind eye all these years for gratification and approving cancerous products knowingly to subject your family and mine to it.

Let us stand up friends and fight this. Till then must stop using all Unilever and volpeting products, even including Patanjali. Who knows who all have crossed these lines. more

Seasoned critics are indeed very helpful in generating fresh ideas for improvement and refinements within our medical system policies and framework or any system. Blind followers give short-term euphoria, but will always empower capitalistic derived monopolistic tendencies that ultimately work towards consumer detriment. This happened with above companies as also would do so again. They earn hugely from us. Buyer beware. more
Original, pioneering research led developments were needed or be encouraged, otherwise a nation accepts what other nations develop, produce and market. Not only that, we ultimately follow even their remedial actions, such as product bans. Certain alternate medicine disciplines, for example Ayurveda have been developed here, whose products are even exported, Dabur exports to over 50 countries worldwide, then so can the lead be followed in allopathic products. more
How benzene works Benzene works by causing cells not to work correctly. For example, it can cause bone marrow not to produce enough red blood cells, which can lead to anemia. Also, it can damage the immune system by changing blood levels of antibodies and causing the loss of white blood cells. The seriousness of poisoning caused by benzene depends on the amount, route, and length of time of exposure, as well as the age and preexisting medical condition of the exposed person. 4. I guess that neither situation of 1. Prolonged use of short quantities or 2. Use of large quantity exists in those products. For further information, please read - https://emergency.cdc.gov/agent/benzene/basics/facts.asp. more
Earlier we stop taking cognisance of scare mongering reports of N.G.O of foreign countries, more so that of USA, it will be better for mental health of people taking interest in public interactive systems.Have you observed any panic reactions in those countries to their reports? At best, they may initiate an investigation. Indian authorities, lacking in original initiative and having colonial mindset of accepting almost everything of Europe and USA as sancrosanct, are also prone to follow in their footsteps. In fact, this colonial mindset is behind floating of such scare mongering resources. 2. Given the level of dishonesty of our own brothern (this may include us also when others are alleging), there is reason to be apprehensive. In fact, to my knowledge and observation of District Level Drug inspectors, this department is considered Revenue Department (like Stamps & Registration, Transport, Police , Municipal Administration etc.). I leave it to learned members imagination regarding whose revenue it is. 3. May Almighty help this nation to develop original thought and action sooner than later and not continue as Copy Cats. Very prolonged (1 year or more) use of Benzene even in small quantities is said to be harmful. Regarding the short term use of sufficient quantity, it is said j more
