Misinforming National Information Systen

For a long time ,I have been observing that National Information System gives wrong information about train running to poor railway passengers,causing great trouble to them. Even the staff on 139 are helpless, as they mostly depend on the same system.
I shall give two recent examples. yesterday (26th July), train no. 12327 Upasana express reached Dehradun at 23:50,but the system showed arrival at 22:00. The same case I faced on 18th July morning,when I could not catch Bhopal Shatabdi at 6:00,as Nanda Devi Exp reached New Delhi at 6:30,but the system showed its arrival at 5:20 (its schedule time).
I wonder why this false information is distributed by the system at national level!
similarly, there is digital arrangement at major stations to show the position of coaches, but 85% screens never work.
Is there anybody to check these mishappenings? more

It is a serious matter and attended to immediately. One more instance is common and that is change of platform at the eleventh hour. more  
It is very true. Railways are not able to give proper arrival time of trains on its site or 139 phone. They should try to give proper arrival time says within a range of 30 minutes. This will help passengers to catch trains properly and not waste time in waiting at station. more  
Noted the content. Computer friendly, trust worthy and responsible persons of railway need to be posted in information system. more  
Train running late is a common thing. However, in the present day information technology has improved and there is still scope to improve upon. more  
[1] Had a horrible day on 28 July 2017.I was placed in W/L-3 position in Godavari Ex. in 2A.C. journey from Hyderabad to Vizag. The reservation did not materialise, hence it was cancelled by IRCTC. But no SMS message was received by me as per procedure reg. the cancellation. Fortunately, I had reached the Hyd. station at 4:30 and so there was time for the departure of Godavari at 5: 25 P.M. Though there were no vacancies in any train, I took help of the person at the Enquiry counter to reschedule my journey via Vijayawada i.e. Hyd. - Vijayawada by IA.C [only one berth was available] and from Vijayawada - Vizag by 2A.C. I finally landed here at Vizag at 12:15 hrs. [45 mts. LATE]. I have sent my complaint to IRCTC to let me know why the SMS was not sent even though my mobile no. entered in the ticket is correct. [2]Tea/ coffee is still being sold at Rs 10/- in trains even when the official rate is Rs 7/-. The vendors are refusing and RUN AWAY with their cans when I tell them to give for Rs 7/-!! Some vendors, it appears, recognise me by my moustache ( as I am regularly travelling to Hyderabad for court cases) , and they avoid coming in front of me! No tea /coffee for me!. Next time I will carry my own flask of tea. It is a pure case of "Andher nagri, chaupat raja; Takey Seer bhoonja, take seer khaja." My God bless my countrymen, especially the Railway Minister. more
