Misleading advertisements to be regulated by CCPA
Some of u who have been in circles since 2015 know how passionate I am about fight against misleading ads vulgar ads and indirect ads of gutka and liquor.

The name "Patanjali" refers to a revered yogi who attained Siddhi or Moksha through penance, Asana, and Pranayama, and who provided the foundational sutras for achieving spiritual liberation. This name holds deep respect in spiritual and yoga communities and should not be used for commercial purposes. Exploiting this sacred name for profit, especially when making exaggerated claims about products that do not align with their purported benefits, is not only disrespectful but also potentially illegal. Such practices may fall under the Magical Remedies Act as per the Drug Manufacturing laws and are punishable offenses. How can we, in good conscience, support someone who is violating Indian law? This is with respect to Harpal Singh ji's responses to posts on this topic. Sir, Two wrongs do not make a right. We should lead by example. Would you permit the lowering of BIS standards because some MNC or big-wig did not meet them? If so, that is disastrous. We need to lead by example and not toe the line that everyone is a defaulter so that gives leeway to others as well. Baba Ramdev had won respect in the minds of people. He is not expected to be unethical. That is called "Vishwasghaat". It is as bad as being anti-national. I wouldn't expect MNCs to care about anything but profits but an Indian? We need to set better benchmarks. I was one of the initial buyers of several of Ramdev's products and have personally noted the extent of quality issues. Many products have now disappeared from the shelves as people have started understanding the hard way. But that is not the way things are supposed to work. Pardon me, but providing an alibi for a swindler is even worse in my view. more

No one needs to be penalised for exaggerating the efficacity claims, which are not toally false and do not lead to harmful effects. Do I not exaggerate my Plus points when applying for a job? more
