There should be no vehicles for officers or staff. They can travel and claim on official trips .This will solve the misuse of govt vehicles. more
misuse needs to be viewed seriously and discouraged under conduct rules. more
This is linked with driver's scope of stealing oil with the officer concerned. The department should have mapped and approved KM of normally used official activity -points. The record of journey should be entered on each embarking point and office to residence journey must be paid one after pre-verification of routes more
a particular office holder has limited area of official visit. The car diary should be disbanded and a CCTV be installed inside the vehicle which will switch on as soon as the vehicle atarts the journey. It will record who is using the vehicle. So Misuse of vehicle by family and friends will be curtailed. I addition the vehicle be fiitted with GPS enabled car meter. At the end of journey if the vehicle has gone at place other than authorised in official capacity the officer will be liable for taxi fare deducted automatically from the salary. In addition most of the official vehicles have very low "official" milage as low as 2-3 km/Litre of petrol/diesel to show high fuel consumption. the official limit should be set not less than 60% of best milage claimed by the manufacturer more
Misuse of Govt.facilities, govt property, indulging in corruption,cheating,scams,anti-national activities, crimes, rape, murder and the list is endless.People indulge in these nefarious activities, and their conscience does not get hurt! That is why they continue to do so.It is only because of a wrong system of education where moral values totally ignored since even before independence. The pseudo secularists made it still worse. We should not forget that Lord Macauley was responsible to weaken and corrupt the personality of Indian youth since generations.Unless our education system is not changed and corrected,we cannot build a strong nation and a strong New India.Japan is the best example for such a good education system! more
