The report shows how we incur costs to keep ourselves protected from mosquitos while municipalities fail to proactively manage the situation. Literally no fogging is done by most municipalities yet most
Of them spend in this area.
Other aspect that the study could have brought out is how much people spend when they are hospitalised with Dengue.
If we pay property and so many other taxes shouldn’t municipalities foot half the bill atleast because its there failure that they didnt do the job despite getting paid.

True. I am in Delhi and MCD had completely failed in discharging its duty. Probably their priorities are different. more
