Shouldnt there be a hygiene rating of every city like cleanliness rating and this rating must determine whether any funding assistance is given from Central Govt to states.

The chikungunya dengue situation in many cities is bad and we suffer. Poor families end up taking 40-50K debt if they come down with it and go to a decent hospital. more

Indian Vity commissioners should be held criminally responsible for mosquito illnesses. The corrupt Health Dept malaria/ Filaria control is non-existent. Quacks & medics are enjoying their ‘Season’. Most will soon buy a new car, house or clear off their debts, thanks to these mosquitoes. The person coming out with a genuine mosquito killer shouted given a double Nobel prize. more
Cleanliness is a matter of state government ie municipal corporation panchayat as applicable. We r giving cleanliness tax with property tax. Concerned department should do it religiously. more
Cleanliness in many part of India are not up to mark. Different different contagious diseases are coming up in each season. I am residing in Mangalore City Corporation limits. The health Department personnel used to visit and inspect our house and premises and apply some sprays to eradicate Mosquitos, Cocroches etc. They used to supply Guppi fishes to grow in the wells inorder to arrest the growing of Mosquitos inside the well. Last 6 to 7 years no Health personnels are visiting our areas and all other areas in the Mangalore City Corporation areas. Maleria, Dingi and Chickengunia are not fully controlled here. Hope the Health Department will do the needful to stop the breeding of mosquitos and thereby spreading of Maleria, Dingi, Chicken guniya Jaundice etc. From: Gopalan Choyi,Thejas, Kapikad 8A Cross Road, P.O.BEJAI, Mangalore -575 004.Tel.No.+91 9448147457.  Gopalan Choyi "Thejas" Kapikad '8A' Cross, P.O.BEJAI.
