Data suggests it takes an average 4 years for disposal of 1 claim.

Like LocalCircles took up the issue of health insurance claim and premium and got the Govt to act within 2 weeks same should be considered tor motor insurance claims.

Compensation in Motor Insurance is VERY VERY POOR and TIME CONSUMING. In case the Earning Member Dies, the Poor Widow has to run from Pillar to Post. Since the case location is at Accident site, the Poor Widow has to Run from Home Town to the Court, several times. I have seen 1991 accident death case, compensation received was after about 25-30 years. more

Motor insurance is compulsory. Health insurance is a choice but to get your own money paid as annual premiums, one has to run after agents or give bribes to get back own money paid over the years as annual punishment Money grows in banks etc Money depletes through annual premiums paid for health insurance Save money for emergency days incase there's a need for getting admitted in hospitals Insured people are fleeced more in corporate hospitals Unnecessary investigations are done because of patients being Insured Remember that it's painful to get a simple blood test done Stay safe and believe in prevention of diseases and lead a healthy life. more
Insurance companies only want high premiums. They care very little for service, often short-changing customers. I have had bitter experiences with more than one company. Whether sarkari or private, the ethos, attitude, culture and ethics is very low. more
