MRP on per km price for taxis

I dont know where to go in Govt to raise this issue. Most depts ignore complaint of individual consumer is my experience. Please take a look at what uber was doing in mumbai as people struggled with rains. 1200 instead of 300 for 20 minute ride.

I want to demand thru local circles that a MRP be fixed per kilometer all across India and none of these taxi walas be allowed to charge above that. Infact if they do legal metrology should book their company director under crpc like they book director of retail stores.

Please support my ask members and circulate this to all your whatsapp. Let hundreds of thousands of people support this.

The MRP can be 20 rs per KM but not beyond that. If that was the case for 20 km they can charge 400 but not 1300. In normal circumstance they charge 12/km.

The suggestion merits cosideration. more
The Uber is doing nothing but exploitation of situation. Our Public Transport System is inefficient, quality of the transport vehicle is in very poor step across India, they are not punctual, and, the vehicles are not being maintained, thereby, many vehicles lay parked, under repair, etc etc. Our country is very populous, and, therefore we need enough vehicles, time table of plying vehicles at pek time has to be excessive, every one should be able to sit comfortably. This is a long standing requirement,no one looks into these affairs, thereby, taxis, rikshas, take advantage of the situation, making common man's life miserable in travel. Metros, local trains,Public Transport buses, once improve in their working capacity and they become very efficient, even the number of private vehicles such as cars, two wheelers would not ply,for travelling for attending work/small jobs etc.It will reduce total vehicle on road, reduce traffic jams, and, exploitation of common man will get addressed, amicably. more
It is high time taht fare range be decided no only for taxi aggregators but for Air tickets as well. more
The system works on the concept of "demand and supply" and these cab aggregators have surge pricing due to demand or peak time rates which must be reasonable. So there has to be a regulation enacted by the government. Even railways and airlines charge more for making booking tickets at a short notice or travel sector oriented. Hence government legislation is a must for this menace. more
